At this point in our worldwide quarantine, we’re all starting to adjust to our “new normal.” While we have no idea how long our new home-bound lifestyles may have to last, our community is full of businesses eager to find ways to still serve families in the Auburn Opelika area.

Here are a few at home activities you can do while supporting some of our local small businesses.

Get some fresh air and drive through the Auburn Floral Trail!

The 14-mile, self-guided trail is broken into a 10.5 mile South trail and a 3.5 mile North trail along with two optional sections. It takes drivers along Auburn’s neighborhood streets to view trees, shrubs, flowers and more that come alive after a cold winter.

With nursing homes and other long-term facilities under a state order not to have visitors, some people have asked how they can help. The simplest way would be to send a greeting card or letter that could be shared with any of the EAMC Nursing Home residents.
